Trifecta of new Dongfeng models now available at more locations, breaking more EV barriers for Kiwi drivers
A trifecta of new Dongfeng models is now available at Armstrong’s dealerships around the country, offering value and performance possibilities for Kiwis wanting to embrace zero-emission motoring.
Additionally, the impending expansion of the Dongfeng network will break further barriers to EV accessibility and ownership. Complementary to Armstrong’s locations in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch, at the end of February there will be four new dealers that will retail and service Dongfeng products: Takanini Auto Group, Auckland Auto Group (Albany), Waikato Auto Group (Hamilton) and Tauranga Motor Group.
All dealerships will feature the three models in the Dongfeng portfolio – BOX, VIGO and 007 – all of which offer their own distinctive personalities and characteristics, delivering urban versatility, everyday practicality and strong performance.
The BOX, breaking barriers to EV fun, is available for less than $30,000 until the end of April. It is the perfect small city car delivering range you don’t have to pay an extra premium for alongside unparalleled manoeuvring and a host of features usually only found in a significantly more expensive car.
Key elements of its design include frameless doors, a ‘floating’ two-tone roof, hidden door handles, LED headlamps and soft-touch materials throughout the cabin. All the features contribute to a bold look which reflects style and individuality, which can be further expressed through a choice of six different exterior styles and three interior trims.
Breaking barriers to electric versatility is the VIGO, renowned as the best value EV SUV for sale in New Zealand. A compact electric SUV, it delivers bold design, impressive space, class-leading interior packaging, premium features and genuine versatility at an unmatched price point.
Standout standard equipment includes an array of Level Two ADAS safety features, a double split tailgate (150kg load capacity) and Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) capability. Safety and intelligent technology sit at the heart of the 007 proposition. Each derivative is fitted with six airbags, rear parking sensors and a 540-degree surround-view camera.
