Dongfeng Milestones

1969

On September 28th, 1969, the large-scale construction of the Second Automobile Works Co., Ltd. (predecessor of Dongfeng Motor) was unveiled in Shiyan, Hubei Province.

1975
1975

In June 1975, the Second Automobile Works Co., Ltd., independently developed and put into production its first basic model, the 2.5t Off-Road EQ240.

On November 18th, 1975 the Second Automobile Works Co., Ltd., was officially named 'Dongfeng'.

On April 9th, 1991 Dongfeng Motor's one millionth vehicle rolled off the production line.

Dongfeng Motor established joint ventures with PSA Group, Honda and Nissan.

Accumulated Sales reached 10 million.

Accumulated Sales reached 20 million.

Voyah Free made its global debut.
